Stylish 2BR Villa near Central Ubud

It’s fine but not great Positive: The only positive thing about this place is the staff. They were really lovely. Villa manager, Erick messaged a day prior and waited for us when we arrived. He was good with WhatsApp messages when we had questions. Messages were sent daily to ask about whether we needed cleaning the next day. We were informed the day before about checkout at 11am. Negative: The location is not close to Ubud central. It can take around 30 mins by car or 20 mins by bike with Ubud traffic to central. There are no sign outside the villa for grab cars to locate. They kept going to the neighbours which is a private property. Outs is villa 8, which is right at the end. The pictures do match. The villa is new. Well equipped kitchen. We never cooked, so can’t comment on the stove etc. There’s no lounge. Just a kitchen and an island by the kitchen. I had asked for bean bag or lounge chairs several times to sit by the pool but it wasn’t supplied. The high chairs for the kitchen island was very uncomfortable to sit on so we couldn’t hangout by the pool. Had to resort to hangout in the bedroom. Not very idea when we booked a villa thinking we could lie down or hangout by the pool. In terms of cleaning, it’s swept not mopped. I’d have to wear slippers in the bedroom as my feet were very dirty from walking around the bedroom/bathroom without slippers. You can definitely find better villas at the same cost or even lower cost. The villa asked for 10/10 rating via this app’s message but I am refusing as I do not agree and would not stay here again.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful villa Positive: This villa is gorgeous! Brand new, beautifully decorated. Very nice pool, kitchen, 2 nice bedrooms (high quality beds). 2 beautiful bathrooms. I highly recommend. The staff who welcome us were so nice. They agree we arrive earlier and they have been very reactive when we had a question. Very good value for money. We will come back with a big pleasure
